Job Description- QA Engineer – Skill Bucket 2 – EAI, BI/DW (Cognos, BO, Documentum, Vignette). SP Global is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to be a key player in planning, preparation and execution of tests for web based applications/systems. This role requires a technologist, who works effectively, both independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment. The candidate must be a delivery-focused person with solid financial applications experience and skills. The candidate will create and execute test cases, automation of tests, gather test metrics, execute deployments in the QA environment, co-ordinate production deployments and release planning. The responsibilities also include: Evaluate requirements and define testing objectives and approaches; manage testing tools and environments, test preparation, execution, and automation. Continuous review and improvement of the testing and quality assurance methodologies and measurement of these processes. Coordinate with onshore and offshore QA teams. Participates in operational readiness review including pre- and post- implementation to ensure a successful business system solution for the client.
