Cyber Security Engineer

USC/GC due to legal or govt. contract requirement. W2/Own corp. Job description: Mergers and acquisitions experience is a must. Position Description and Responsibilities: Endpoint protection deployment, tuning, and monitoring for servers and end-user endpoints (Microsoft Intune and Defender) Network security design and implementation (DNSSEC, Firewalls, WAF, DDoS) Deploy and integrate tools to assess cloud security posture (Wiz-CSPM) Deploy and integrate vulnerability detection tools (Rapid 7 suite) Skills and Experience: Direct experience deploying and managing Microsoft Intune and Defender in enterprise environments with different OS types, including Windows, Mac, and Linux Exceptions and automation at scale (power apps/logic apps). E.g., for allowing USB devices Tuning Defender for Servers, Endpoint, Identity, and Network Protection Demonstrable experience in diverse engineering cybersecurity technologies, including cloud, on-premises, and hybrid IT infrastructure environments. (Azure, AWS, and GCP) Demonstrable experience deploying and managing network security tools and techniques, including firewalls and DNS security
